Each issue of the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery has 4 articles designated for potential CPD credit. Exam questions are created by the author and his/her editors from the content of each article.
After successfully completing an exam, you will be instructed to print a certificate of credit for your earned credit hours:
- Each exam is worth 1 credit hours.
- An annual total of 24 credit hours may be earned.
- All questions must be answered correctly to obtain credit.
- Each exam may be retaken an unlimited number of times until successfully completed.
| The CPD Program is free for journal subscribers who have activated their online subscription. Non-subscribers still have full access to the CPD Program, however if you are not a journal subscriber, upon successful completion of an exam you will be required to purchase a journal subscription in order to claim your certificate of credit.
If you are a journal subscriber but have not activated your online subscription, you will be required to activate it upon successful completion of an exam in order to receive your certificate of credit.

If you get a blank screen when clicking on an exam, you need to enable pop-ups in your browser:
- Scroll to the top and click on the message regarding "pop-ups."
- Agree to allow pop-ups (for this program only) and follow the additional prompts.
- The exam will then appear.
- If your browser is Safari, follow these steps to enable pop-ups : 1) open the Safari window; from the top menu click Safari; Unselect the option (if selected) - "Block Pop-Up Windows."
NOTE: Enabling pop-ups for this CPD activity will not enable pop-ups for any other applications.

Click on an exam title to access an exam. You will be asked to verify your CPD account. If you do not have a CPD account you
will be asked to create one. Your CPD account is different and separate from your journal subscription account.
