Aims: Titanium plate is an effective means of calvarial reconstruction in adults following
craniectomy and has been supported in several case series. The use of such implants
in children is controversial and autologous bone is generally advocated. We aimed
to identify early and late complications arising from a single operator using the
same technique of custom made titanium plate in a paediatric population.
