Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor (KCOT) is considered as a benign intraosseous tumor
of the jaw. As per the earlier literature, the Odontogenic Keratocyst (OKC) is an
aggressive and highly infiltrative cyst, because of which it has been reported with
high recurrence rate of 62%. Considering the clinical behaviour and the recurrence,
the OKC has been reclassified as a KCOT.
