      Any colleague who has ever been involved in organising a cadaveric course in United Kingdom will be aware of the officious and administrative challenges involved.

      The costs involved in setting up cadaveric courses are high and enrolment fees out of reach for a large proportion of the trainees. Consolidation of such challenges have resulted in significant reduction of hands-on cadaveric courses. The status quo is a far cry from the 1980s, where, as a dental student, one was expected to attend and perform anatomical dissections.
