      advocate the use of total alloplastic temporomandibular joint replacement (TMJR) in adolescents with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Similar published papers have been characterised by poor methodology, inadequate duration of follow up, and a low level of evidence. Unfortunately, the current publication is no exception.
